I used to be a full-time trader from 2012 to 2020. After having a couple years out I'm back and offering my signals.

For me risk management is everything and I try to keep draw down to as low as possible. I will add to positions at key levels but this is not martingale. If you look at my history you can see at times I will flip positions if markets change.

The key is to not over leverage and be extremely patient. Some trades will last minutes and others weeks in rare occasions.
