Open Market Europe C3A is an EA based on the breakouts of the range generated in the Asian session and designed to obtain annual returns in a safe and stable manner based on an adequate risk configuration that guarantees relatively low drawdown averages and where the maximum reached in a year will always be less than or equal to the profitability achieved in that year, thus making possible adjustments that guarantee a profitability/drawdown relationship according to the desired expectations.
7 years of backtesting in EURUSD-M15 show an 28% average annual return with an 6% average drawdown, over historical data with 1:500 leverage, although backtesting carried out with 1:100 leveraged historical data yields satisfactory results, the profitability/drawdown ratio decreases a little compared to 1:500.
Note that these data refer to annual averages, which means that there can and do be higher and lower spikes when backtesting results are analyzed on a monthly basis.
The EA has currently been operating in a Demo account (1:100) for more than 2 years and in a Real account (1:100) for about 1 year, working perfectly and with expected and very satisfactory results in both modes.
The pairs he trades are EURUSD, GBPJPY, AUSUSD and NZDUSD with similar results on all.
We recommend trading with leverage of no less than 1:100.
The results of the backtesting were obtained by performing them with balances ranging from 3,000 to 1000,000 USD. Accounts under 3000USD could see the profitability/drawdown ratio decrease.
