I'm using in this account a multi-currency EA with variable grid based on volatility, not any martingale strategy. Recommended minimum starting balance is 1000 at leverage 1:500. I started with lower balance to over-stress the EA in all conditions, to see if the account survives. I'm not using stop loss, the stop loss is the account itself, good money management will help it to survive.
The so called "stop loss" is the "mantra" induced to all traders, so they'll be caught off-guard and wiped out. Many times happened to me until I realized the stop loss MUST be the whole account, nothing else.
