The Ranger strategy was our 1st algo strategy ever released to the public. It was developed in 2015 and trades the GBPCAD and AUDCAD pairs. It looks to find the tops and bottoms of the market. It doesn’t use a trend filter because it doesn’t need one. We were dumb and never put the Ranger on it’s own (solo) tracked account all these years. It was always running in tandem with another strategy. We’re finally giving the Ranger own tracked account so it can prove its worth. The methodology has never needed to be changed or modified. This is how rock-solid the strategy has been over the last 10 years. The last Ranger loss happened in June 2021. This loss was recovered in early 2022.
