Progressivum is a manual strategy. It's not the most conservative strategy, although not the most aggressive one either, with the aim of creating 7-10% profit monthly, aiming to avoid drawdowns higher than 30%.
The strategy trades fairly much, mostly using limit orders, and is pretty much constantly in trades on different currency pairs. It only trades well liquid FX Pairs (major and cross pairs).
Progressivum is a counter-trend strategy, entering after big, trendy moves and when they are getting exhausted. It takes advantage of RSI divergence, and when big moves are getting exhausted and big players are accumulating positions to turn the markets, the strategy capitalises on when the market ranges / consolidates (forms a local bottom or a top) before deciding on a new direction. The longer the consolidation, the more we can capitalise on it.
The strategy layers in the market, so several positions can be opened on a pair. The positions can grow some if new positions are opened on the same pair (based on the risk levels of the position). It is, however, important to notice the strategy does NOT use risky martingale technique.
The risk management is achieved via careful position sizing as well as the fact that the entries are very highly considered and do give a good backing to lower the risk. The strategy doesn't use a stoploss, and consistent withdrawals of profits form a part of the risk management. We do not even aim to look for intraday support /resistance (it doesn't work), and therefore, the account is constantly in drawdown - don't worry, that's part of the strategy.
The strategy should work pretty much on any account on any FX broker. Slippage, liquidity or execution of the broker should not matter too much considering we're always aiming to trade ranges of min. 40 pips. Min 1:100 leverage is required for your account to be able to handle drawdown. Recommend setting max. slippage to 5 pips. We consistently withdraw all of our profits currently. We maintain the account balance the same though, so it won't skew position sizes for your copy account. We recommend you to regularly withdraw at least a percentage of your profits.
