Hi there, I am a 5+ year professional, hobbyist, part-time retail trader. During these 5 years, I have experienced, Covid, Trade Wars, and Brexit and a presidential elections. I have learned many valuable (and also painful) lessons through these periods.
I believe my strategies (Eureka0x) are resistant to these volatile and turbulent markets. I run multiple advisors (3-4) on my accounts that make up a complete themed strategy.
Also, I have a strict no grid, hedge, martingale policy, however I do run some advisors that uses grid with a few levels and each level with a stop loss.
My strategies trade a few times each day and throughout the day, and usually trades don’t last more than 1-4 hours. (Each morning at 10:30 AEST I also close out all trades to start fresh for the day)
In addition, all advisors are protected by a global stop loss (e.g. shirt protection).
Lastly, my systems are monitored for news events, (poor) trade execution and stability. I monitor my setup and check the markets daily and manually intervene if required.
As you can see, my graphs aren’t perfect, but at least realistic!!
Ps. Note that all my advisors have been properly back tested & optimised with 99.9 quality. In addition all are carefully analysed using Quant analyser.
Again, no promises, but going well for me without major risks that some strategies bring.
I trade my own hard earned money, so rest assured I do my very best not to lose it. But, bad weeks are always possible... But hey!, that’s Forex!!
